Practice Makes Perfect

For this next part you will get to practice your parenting skills on a (semi) real baby! Once you have come to this page of the project your first job is to email Ms. Pappas at ppappas@iastate.edu and tell her that you are now ready to get your baby simulator. These will be handed out in class on the Friday of the week this project is assigned, The baby simulator is  a doll that acts and makes sounds like a real baby. You will have this doll for 3 days and 2 nights. During this time you must feed, change, and care for your baby. Access this website for tips on when you know to feed your baby and to learn more about feedings. Then, record your feedings, changings, etc. on this excel sheet. You will write a paper about your experience later in class so be sure to take thorough notes on this excel sheet and in a note sheet.
